According to Millward Brown Optimor, following are the top 10 brands for the year 2007:

1. Google -- $66.4 billion. Google has proved to be the most efficient brand of all time. From a search engine website, Google as emerged as one of the biggest corporate giving competition to companies like Yahoo and Microsoft. Several surveys have proved that Google is the best company to work with.

2. General Electric � S61.9 billion. GE is the second largest company of the world. Jeff Immelt commissioned the brand in 2004 and Wolff Olins designed it. GE promotes itself as an open and approachable company. GE is a conglomerate incorporated in the state of New York.

3. Microsoft � $55 billion. Microsoft followed the brand race at third place. Ever criticized Microsoft continues to stay among the top brands with a brand value of $55 billion. Microsoft recently changed its tagline from �Where do you want to go today?� to �Your Potential. Our Passion�.

4. Coca-Cola -- $44.1 billion. The Cola giant, widely popular for its catchy slogans and interesting advertisements, apart from the cola, obviously, ranks 4th in the list of top 10 brands of 2007 with a brand value of $44.1 billion.

5. Chine Mobile -- $41.2 billion. According to Wikipedia, China Mobile or CMCC, is the largest mobile phone operator in China and has largest number of subscribers in the world with over 376.38 million customers. By turnover it is second to Vodafone, which owns 3.3% of China Mobile.

6. Marlboro -- $39.2 billion. Marlboro achieved their brand success with their Marlboro Man and effective ad campaigns. They are famous for their billboard advertisements. There active sponsorship to various racing tournaments including F1 racing has successfully helped it to achieve a masculine brand image.

7. Wal-Mart -- $36.9 billion. Ever so friendly Wal-Mart changed their advertising slogan on 12 September 2007 to �Save Money Live Better� from �Always Low Prices, Always� which had been in use for last 19 years.

8. Citigroup -- $33.7 billion. According to Forbes Global 2000 in March 2007, Citigroup is the largest company in the world with total assets of US $2.4 trillion. The company has a staff of 332,000 employees in more than 100 countries with a hold over 200 million customer accounts.

9. IBM � $33.6 billion. IBM is one of the biggest business and technology solutions providers. Currently, the company is running a number of projects including several Open Source projects.

10. Toyota Motor -- $33.4 billion. Toyota is the only car manufacturing companies which was able to make it to the top 10 brands. Toyota has significant worldwide presence for manufacturing and assembling vehicles for local markets.
