Which HDTV antenna to choose? This will depend on the area you live in and the broadcasts available in your location and the distance from the transmitting towers, you will have to decide on the frequency band, antenna directivity and amplification.
In most cases, outdoor hdtv antennas are recommended, especially if you live in an area that may be remote in regards to broadcast. For this reason, and indoor HDTV antenna still allows you all the fantastic qualities of HDTV while not having your home stick out on your street.
Indoor hdtv television antennas are also recommended for anyone who may not want to get up on their roof and install an hdtv antenna. Another thing to keep in mind is that indoor hdtv antennas do not take the weather punishments that outdoor hdtv antennas take, so the indoor versions will always last longer.
Although the reception of an outdoor hdtv antenna is usually far better than that of indoor antennas, other factors… size, cost, ease of installation, and don’t forget appearance – could be the deciding factor.
