How to make your own oil change ramps

Ramps to change oil are great for accelerating the process of changing your oil when you practice keeping your regular car. Instead of taking the cat and support, you can simply move the wheels front of your vehicle on the ramps to lift the front end. While most sellers of auto parts and tools selling a variety of ramps, you can make your own ramp for little or no money and about 10 minutes of effort. Anyone who has hand tools can make your own ramps to quickly and easily change oil.

  1. A table placed 76 cm (30 inches) long of 5×30 (cm) flat on the ground. Supports a table of 61 cm (24 inches) long of 5×30 (cm) above it with the rear ends of two aligned tables.
  2. 8cm sticks a nail through a table of 61 cm (24 inches) to 76 cm (30 inches), using the hammer. The first nail should be approximately 3 cm inside from the front edge of the table of 61 cm (24 in) and 3 cm in from the right edge. Pin a second nail through the back left corner of the table of 61cm (24 inches) to 76 cm (30 inches), using the hammer.
  3. A table placed 46 cm (18 inches) in the ground. Supports a table of 30 cm (12 inches) above it with the rear ends of two aligned tables.
  4. 8cm sticks a nail through a table of 30 cm (12 inches) to 46 cm (12 inches), using the hammer. The first nail should be approximately 3 cm inside from the front edge of the table of 30 cm (12 in) and 3 cm in from the right edge. Pin a second nail through the left rear corner of the table of 30 cm (12 inches) to 46 cm (18 inches), using the hammer.
  5. Supports the joined tables of 30 cm and 46 cm above the 61cm and 76cm with the rear edges of the four aligned tables. This should create a ladder effect with the front edges of the boards. Repeat steps 1 to 5 with the remaining boards and nails to create the second ramp.
